Phlebolab Professional Services & Career Training Center, LLC. Is an NPS (National Performance Specialist) Approved Program for Certified Phlebotomy Technician.

Our Mission

We seek to provide a high-quality educational program that prepares phlebotomy students to achieve the competencies required for the National Certification Exam, as well as, offer phlebotomist technician, continuing education and other training. Graduates of the program will be confident in the practice of this skill and enter the industry as a prepared, ethical, and competent phlebotomist.

Curriculum

This is a four (4 day) course 8 hours, that will include theory and clinical experiences needed for the proper collection of blood and other specimens used for diagnostic testing. Emphasis is placed on ethics, legalities, medical terminology, safety and universal precautions, patient relations, anatomy and physiology, and specimen collection.

Continuing Education (CE) unit will focus on the re-education and training of individuals already in the healthcare industry who desire to sharpen or hone their skills due to infrequency of use. These individuals include, but are not limited to, medical doctors, nurses and other currently licensed medical professionals.

CLASS STRUCTURE:

The course consists of 30-40 hours in-class training. This includes bookwork, intensive hands-on training, and practical examination.

On the last day of class, students can choose to challenge the National Exam. When passed, this exam certifies students to work anywhere in the country.*States such as California, Nevada, Louisiana and Washington have additional licensing requirements.

PREREQUISITES:

Must be 18 years or older.
Must be a High School graduate or equivalent thereof. We will ask for proof of this.
Previous experience is NOT required.

FLEXIBLE PAYMENT PLAN:

At PhleboLab Pro9fessional Services & Career Training Center, LLC, we understand that each person has a unique set of circumstances, and we offer a payment plan to accommodate all potential students. Because we are a private institution, we DO NOT accept financial aid, however, we DO accept vouchers from third-party payers who are willing to pay for private education.

Our payment plan works by requiring ONLY the deposit to register and secure a seat in class. Students will then have from the day they pay the deposit up until halfway through their class to pay their remaining balance. This allows students ample time to make payments in order to be paid by the time their class starts.

We offer our students the freedom to decide when they would like to make payments and how much they would like to pay as long as the remaining balance is paid off by the halfway point of the class. Payments can be made conveniently online with any major credit card at any time through the Student Portal, or over the phone with Student Services.
